Deacon Jack Seymour Parish Food Pantry is a ministry of St. Francis of Assisi Church and Sacred Heart Church that provides emergency food assistance for needy families of all faiths and backgrounds in the Newburgh area. Since 1997, our volunteers have been providing groceries to help the local hungry. Our service is always free of charge.
We also operate in partnership with the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and the Newburgh School District to provide hunger relief to homeless children through the Food Bank's Backpack Program. This program provides nutritious food to children in need for the weekends and other times.
We are a member agency of the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, and The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. If you need food, please come see us during our regular hours: Friday and Saturday mornings from 9:00AM until Noon. Bring identification and proof of address, and we will help you immediately.
